I am delighted to welcome you to our official website of European Grand Prix of Majorette-Sport 2015.
„where the beauty of dance and the spirit of sport unite”
Many of you will have already attended our events and are familiar with our activity; for some of you it will be your first visit and I hope you will find it interesting and rewarding. Whether you are a dancer, a teacher, a choreographer, an adjudicator, a national representative or just a visitor I would like you to feel a part of the international work for majorette-sport.
I hope you will find it useful to explore our website and find out about the breadth of our international activity and the diverse opportunities available to all our members.
We are a non-profit organisation aimed at supporting various forms of dance in majorette- sport at international level.
So many excellent majorette- dancers from so many countries came over to participate in our open events. An extraordinary atmosphere and the outstanding level of presentations will be well remembered.
Extremely talented young people, the most remarkable names in the world of majorettes as the adjudicators and the top world class majorettes performing during the Finals, including the best teams. Also the smallests and who are elder then competitior-age are involved in „B“- cathegory or on festival fields.
International Majorette- Sport Association was formed 11 years ago by the leaders of the majorette associations of the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
Each year Europian Championship of Majorette-Sport and five times European Grand Prix was held in different towns of member-countries, as Opatija- Croatia, Belgrade- Serbia, Siófok- Hungary, Albena- Bulgaria.
I’d like to use this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in our events during the last 11 sporting seasons and has contributed to their success. Hungarian Majorette Association and also me personally are incredibly proud to be a part of such a remarkable international association and to work with so many enthusiastic and dedicated people.
We are passionate about dance, majorette- sport and young people. We strongly believe in the power of dance to change the world, integrate different cultures and promote solidarity. Our commitment is to create a world leading system of both majorette- sport competitions and dance based events that will help promote talent and creativity as well as building a better future for young people.
I am looking forward to seeing you all in our events.
